EP. 128
According to current estimates, there are 400,000 children in foster care in the United States. They range in age from infants to 21 years old (in some states), but the average age of a child in foster care is more than 8 years old, and there are slightly more boys than girls. Sadly, although the foster care system does a great deal of good...it owes its existence to family tragedy.
I'm so honored to be interviewing Katie Tudor, LMSW who brings her expertise to this first of a two-part interview as we discuss:
What needs to be improved in the foster care system?
How can these improvements be made?
What are the most common misconceptions?
